Defining the
project scope:
The project scope sets the stage for developing a project
plan. It defines the projects objectives and deliverables.
Scope Statement:
‘’Optimization of Human Resources Department at York region
District School Board, Ontario, Canada.’’
Deliverables:
1. Questioning Techniques
2. Test plan
3. Demo website prototype
4. Final prototype
5. User Acceptance/ Sign-off
6. Complete website/ Go-Live.
Milestones:
1. Review existing website-Oct4/2011.
2. Building of project team-Oct10/2011.
3. Client validation and kick off-Oct10/2011.
4. Writing test plan and meeting with technical
team-Nov14/2011.
5. Writing of programming code and testing-Nov21/2011.
6. Checking status with stakeholder-Nov28/2011.

Technical Requirement:
1. Three servers are require, these are web servers,
application servers and database servers.
2. At least 100 employees are expected to participate in the
user acceptance testing at client site.
Clients Review:
Staff from York Region District School Board review the
project and offer signature.
